Bank Holiday Time!

Bank Holiday weekends are always lovely: BBQ’s, long lies and generally just relaxing...well, that’s what we all imagine the perfect Bank Holiday to be anyway! In reality, we spend most of our time on the motorway, eating Chinese takeaway because it is too cold and wet for a BBQ and painting the spare room! Or, you may be at work like some of the K TWO team are today...

There are a few people off for the Bank Holiday though – Matt our Sales Manager is off on a golfing trip down in Cheshire and Paul in the sales team is off to Portsmouth to visit his in-laws. I hope he took them some lovely K TWO gifts to keep in their good books! A Recipe File for mum and a Vehicle Document File for dad maybe?
Some of you may also be off to the Notting Hill Carnival today! It looks like a lot of fun, especially the dancing and the colourful outfits! Have any of you been before? We’d love to hear your stories!

Celebration time at K TWO!

We are very lucky here at the K TWO office, as whenever any of us have a birthday, we are all treated to some fizz and cake. However, on this occasion it was extra special, as our super talented designer Elise was celebrating her 30^th birthday!

From the moment she got to work she got the VIP treatment, as we had banners on K TWO’s main door and decorations on her desk too. We tried to organise her fizz and birthday cake in secret, but she knew exactly what we were up to when we all disappeared downstairs without her!

Elise will be going off to New York to celebrate the milestone, so everyone at K TWO clubbed together and got her some dollars to spend whilst she’s there. She’s can’t wait to hit the shops when she’s there, so hopefully she’ll be able to buy something extra special for herself! She will most definitely be visiting Bloomingdale’s...maybe she will buy a nice Mulberry handbag and let all the K TWO girls take turns in using it? Here’s hoping!

We also used K TWO's super cute Sticky Labels when we were writing and sealing her card. The first thing she said when she looked at the envelope was...”These pretty labels look VERY familiar!”

K TWO Out at the Festival!

We are a lucky bunch here in the K TWO office, as our MD Kerri takes the team out to a show at the Edinburgh Festival every year! In the past, we have seen The Ladyboys of Bangkok, Kevin Bridges and Jason Byrne, so we always have lots of fun.

This year we are going to see a new Scottish comedian called Daniel Sloss. We have seen some fantastic reviews, so we are all really excited to see him. The show is being held at a venue called the Spiegeltent which has lots of outdoor areas to eat and drink, however as the heavens have well and truly opened up, I think we might just settle for a nice indoor bar somewhere!

Comedy isn’t all that you’ll find at the Fringe though, as there is theatre, poetry, dance...it is the biggest arts festival in the world after all! If you haven’t been before, we would thoroughly recommend it! You’ll get all the information that you need on the Edinburgh Fringe website.
