The Home and Work Diary - back by popular demand - has become a firm favourite in its new, improved design. We’ve retained the much loved features of its predecessor, the ‘Busy Life Diary’, but made it more compact, better value and much easier to carry about being hand-bag size!
We’re always looking to improve our products and make them as useful as possible, and sometimes it takes a couple of versions to get it absolutely right for our customers. But with fantastic feedback, we believe we’ve done it this time round with the Diary already becoming a best-seller in the range.
The clever week-to-view format is designed to keep track of two schedules side-by-side. Choose your own combination: ‘home & work’, ‘parents & kids, or ‘partner & you’ so you can view all your weekly appointments and activities at a glance.
Every three months we’ve included a useful storage pocket for tickets, receipts, reminders – whatever you like - just perfect for keeping things straight, and so good for juggling busy lives!
We wanted to make the diary as fresh and appealing as possible, especially as it’s going to be used day-in, day-out, for a whole year! We felt it best suited an illustration or a pattern and spent lots of time looking at different ideas and decided to go for an organic, natural look. We were inspired by nature: flowers, trees, birds, simple patterns, and textures, and came up with several ideas to show our customers for feedback before deciding on the finished design.
The Diary you see was a clear winner with everyone loving the look! In fact, we think the Sales team won’t need to work too hard at all on selling this product as it’s already flying out the warehouse.
We’re currently working on the new design for 2012 which will be available from next summer, so look out for it in our ‘Coming Soon’ products nearer the time!
